Tony Fernandez
- Used to sidearm the ball to first.
- Batted out of turn in a 1989 game, and was blasted by the writers for it.
- At his Wall of Excellence ceremony, the subject of his acceptance speech was about accepting adult responsibility.
- Flirted with .400 in the 1999 season.
- At the end of his career, used "Love will always stand alone... I'll always be your HERO!" as his at-bat music.
- Used to yell when a ball was about to hit him. (Can you blame him?) For years, you could see the place on his face where a ball hit him in 1989.
